1. General Provisions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website pol-az.com and the services provided by Izba Gospodarcza Polska-Azerbejdżan (IGPA), a registered economic chamber under Polish law.

By accessing or using the website, applying for membership, or participating in IGPA activities, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Definitions

• IGPA / Chamber — Izba Gospodarcza Polska-Azerbejdżan, headquartered in Warsaw, Poland
• User — any person accessing or using the pol-az.com website
• Member — a legal or natural person formally admitted to IGPA under the Statute
• Services — chamber activities including networking, advocacy, events, and member support
• Website — the website pol-az.com and any subdomains operated by IGPA

3. Website Use

The website is provided to inform the public about IGPA's mission, services, members, and activities. By using the website, you agree to:

• Use the website lawfully and in good faith
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Not disrupt or interfere with the website's operation
• Not use automated tools (scrapers, bots) without written consent
• Respect the intellectual property rights of IGPA and third parties

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access for users violating these Terms.

4. Membership

4.1 Application

Companies, organizations, and individuals may apply for IGPA membership by completing the application form on membership.html and submitting required documents. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of IGPA's governing body, in accordance with the Statute.

4.2 Membership Categories

IGPA offers Regular, Founding, and Honorary membership categories. Each category has specific fees, rights, and obligations as detailed on our Membership page.

4.3 Member Obligations

• Pay membership fees on time as agreed
• Comply with the IGPA Statute and internal regulations
• Conduct business and represent IGPA in a professional, ethical manner
• Promptly inform IGPA of any material changes (company details, contact, leadership)

4.4 Termination

Membership may be terminated by voluntary resignation (with 30 days' notice) or by IGPA decision for breach of obligations, non-payment, or conduct contrary to IGPA's interests. Termination procedures are detailed in the Statute.

5. Events

IGPA organizes forums, trade missions, working groups, and networking events. Participation may require registration, fees, or invitation. By registering for events, you agree to:

• Provide accurate registration information
• Comply with venue rules and event guidelines
• Allow photography/recording during the event (unless you opt out)
• Respect confidentiality where applicable

IGPA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to circumstances beyond its control. Registration fees will be refunded or credited toward future events in such cases.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the pol-az.com website — including text, graphics, logos, the IGPA hexagon mark, photographs, videos, and software — is owned by IGPA or licensed to IGPA, and is protected by Polish and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download, and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use — including reproduction, distribution, public display, modification, or commercial use — requires prior written consent from IGPA.

The IGPA name, logo, and hexagon mark are trademarks of IGPA. Use of these marks without authorization is prohibited.

7. Liability

IGPA provides the website and services on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of website content
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for content on third-party websites linked from pol-az.com
• Information on the website is for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal, tax, or business advice

Nothing in these Terms limits IGPA's liability for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence under Polish law.

8. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the website shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Warsaw, Poland.

For consumer disputes, the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Prohibited Conduct

When using IGPA services and the website, you may not:

• Engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use IGPA's name, brand, or membership status to mislead third parties
• Solicit, recruit, or market to other members without authorization
• Distribute viruses, malware, or other harmful technology
• Engage in harassment, discrimination, or hate speech in any IGPA forum or event

Violations may result in account termination, membership revocation, and legal action.

10. Changes to These Terms

IGPA may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the website and, where appropriate, by email to members. The "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
